Only people with your link can see your report. Nothing is searchable or listed.
No account, no login. Fill in whatever makes sense for you; if it's a longer report, we recommend writing it in another app, and then copy/pasting here.
Once it's created, you'll be shown a link to the report that you can share, and a link to edit or delete it. If you've opted in to have your report emailed to you, both links will be sent to you.
How this works, in full
- This is a small, sporadically maintained project. We're still kicking the tires. Get in touch if something doesn't work for you.
- When you hit “Create my weather report,” we check that you're human, then save your content to our server. You'll get a unique link back — treat that link like a password, because it functions like one.
- Anyone with the link can view your report. There's no index or search of reports; there's no way to stumble onto someone else's.
- To be safe: there's no autosave and no way to come back to an in-progress form. If your report is long, write it elsewhere first and paste it in.
- No HTML or other markup is allowed in your report; anything you type is shown back as plain text.
- Need help? Email info@theweatherreport.org — allow 24–48 hours, because we're human, not a bot.
- We (the site admins) technically could read reports right now, but we're not, unless we're doing aggregated analysis in the future — which you can opt in to at the bottom of the form.
